SAP SD Configuration Specialist
SAP SD Analyst will work closely with the WM, APO, Finance and Development groups to prepare functional development specifications and potential system configuration changes. The ideal candidate will support the implementation of SAP projects related to the SD, WM,
APO, Finance and Development processes by identifying, analyzing, designing and implementing solutions to meet end user requirements. Candidate should be able to do Requirement/Gap Analysis; resolve Gaps; customize system; provide knowledge transfer to User Environment; Develop Documentation and Training Material; Fair Knowledge of Integration with Other Modules and participate in Integration testing and Rollout.
Essential Functions:
Serve as a functional analyst in all stages of Systems Development Life Cycle.
Work with Finance and Accounting departments in support of their business processes.
Provide daily production support to end-user community for SAP SD and LE.
Work independently to provide requirements analysis and define the scope for new projects.
Creation & execution of test scripts to ensure user acceptance of proposed solutions.
Maintain technical documentation for SAP and other related software
Evaluate business needs and suggest solutions.
Provide leadership for implementing and delivering solutions.
Ability to be on-call on a rotation basis for production support 24/7.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
5 years of SAP Configuration experience in the SD module REQUIRED.
Additional SAP Configuration experience in the MM, WM or PP modules preferred.
Experience in the Consumer Packaging, Manufacturing or Food Industries
Familiarity with Global SAP standards and practices for potential European implementations.
One full cycle SAP implementation on a project which included SAP SD, LE, MM, and PP.
SAP project implementation experience on a recent version of SAP 4.6 or later.
Strong SAP SD experience including a focus on Sales Order Processing, Pricing, Logistics and Transportation.
General knowledge of accounting business functions (the candidate need not be an accountant)
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education.
Willingness to travel to locations globally.
Strong facilitation and presentation experience.
Strong Microsoft Windows suite knowledge (Excel, Visio, PPT, Word etc…)
